The school is affiliated to CBSE , Delhi and we follow a system of continuous and comprehensive evaluation , which includes both scholastic and non-scholastic aspects. The curriculum is a consciously designed all - inclusive curriculum which shapes the minds of the child and which teaches the child to learn for life.
Curriculum
Nilgiri Public School follows the CBSE syllabus. English is the medium of Instruction.
Uniform assessment scheme with a two semester system which include half yearly and annual exams is followed from the classes I to X.
The grading will be carried out separately for scholastic and co-scholatic activities.
Both marks and grades will be reflected for individual subjects in the report card.
The weightage of marks is 80% written Exam and 20% Internal Assessment
Academic Session
The academic year of the school consists of two terms.
First term: June to October
Second term: November to March
School Timing
The school works for six days from Monday to Saturday(STD: VI to X) and for five days from Monday to Friday (LKG to STD : V)
THE TIME SCHEDULE IS 9.15 AM TO 3.30 PM.
Fees
Annual charges have to be paid once in a year before the reopening of the school every year. Annual charges include the fee towards sports, cultural, examination, laboratory, library, medical, establishment etc.
The tution fee has to be paid term wise namely,
I term : On or before 10th of June
II term : On or before 10th of October
III Term : On or before 10th of January
Transportation
The school provides conveyance facilities. Students may avail this facility on payment of specific charges which are fixed according to the distances.

All the students must be punctual to the school
Uniform must be clean and ironed manner.
Prior sanction of leave is a must for absence from school, in case of sickness school authorities must be informed in time
Tidy dress, polished shoes, clean and cut nail, respect to staff and visitors is expected at all time
All students must attend the assembly at 9:20 a.m. Late comers will not be allowed to enter into the class without the permission of the principal
School fees must paid term wise. I term, II term and III term fees must be paid on or before 10th of June , October and February
Guidelines for Parents
A leave letter from the parent or guardian of the student must support absence from school even for one day. If absence on account of illness lasts for more than three days , the application for leave must be made to the principal, accompanied by a Doctor`s certificate
Changes in the address or telephone number of parents or guardians must be intimated to the school office
Parents are welcome to visit the school. However parents are not allowed to meet teachers during school hours without sanction of the principal. Parents can meet the principal on Fridays after 3:00 p.m.
Parents are required to sign the report card and any other similar document relating to their children when requested.
Some times un-expected holiday may be declared . Kindly check the news and use your discretion.
In case of any infectious disease in he home, Parents should keep their child, children at home till the danger of infection has passed
